Why see Texas Ballet Theater - Diversions?
Four Ballet Stunners
Texas Ballet Theater celebrates the possibilities of ballet in this stunning program featuring Martha Graham's groundbreaking 1948 work Diversion of Angels. Inspired by the kinetic strokes of painter Wassily Kandinsky, Graham places three color-coded couples center stage in this sensory exploration of love's different ages, using the dancer's bodies to tell each couple's story.
Also featured is Tim O'Keefe's choreography to Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D, as well as his stunning Bolero set to the music of Ravel. Finally, Paul Taylor's Company B presents a swing-infused reflection upon war. A must-see show for ballet aficionados!
