Motley Crue

Def Leppard
Titans of the 80's British Heavy-Metal revival and progenitors of contemporary Pop Metal Def Leppard have never let anything stand in their way, even their drummer Rick Allen losing an arm to a car accident. Overcoming this with a custom kit and a new style of drumming, the band surged on to create the album 'Hysteria', which hit 12 times platinum in US sales and sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
Poison
Hair-metal icons and Pennsylvania natives Poison have been rocking hard since 1983. No strangers to touring with both Def Leppard and the 'Crue, they've been on the road extensively for the better part of the last decade. Whilst the line up may change (still led by frontman Bret Michaels) the soul and glam-rock spirit is more present than ever!
Joan Jett
Since co-founding pioneering all-girl punk outfit The Runaways in 1975, Joan Jett has marched, and played flaming rock riffs, to the beat of her own drum, emerging as one of the most important and influential female figures in rock and roll history. Never allowing her gender to overtake the agenda, Jett broke through to the mainstream with stripped-down, good old fashioned, loud and hook-laden songwriting and continues to rule the stage with her backing band the Blackhearts, with whom she released seminal cover 'I Love Rock 'n Roll' in 1982.

First Concert
I've waited for two-three years with my dad to see these bands rock it out on the stage. Was it worth it? Let's see:
Joan Jett - She sounded a tad worn, but I can still feel the passion she had what she did, plus I loved the songs they played. Good start.
Poison - Probably the best of the four. Bret had such great energy and interaction and setlist was equally fantastic.
Motley Crue - My favorite band, but... I do think the sound system wasn't needed because the instruments drowned out the singing. I still had fun, but I won't lie, I feel for Vince, he needs a break. Plus, some segments kind of turned me off...
Def Leppard - Almost as good as Poison, but the setlist could've been slightly better. Also, I do feel like with Motley, they didn't need the extra bass either.
Overall? I had a great time! Even if Motley was a little too bombastic and rowdy, this was definitely one night to remember! ... Read more

Stadium Tour in St. Louis
It was over 104 degrees out side when Joan Jett took the took the stage and you wouldn't know it by the way all of the bands performed. It was a fantastic show !! Bret Michaels & Poison were great, even though Bret had been in the hospital just four days prior. Def Leppard sounded just like the very first day they started touring in the States back in the 1980's. They mixed up their songs from their new album vs their older albums just right. Motley Crue headlined the show and was fantastic. Not sure why everybody is getting on Vince Neil for using a teleprompter, I would rather him do that, then screw up the lyrics, he has slimmed down quite a bit and sounded good. I cannot say who stole the show, Def Leppard or Motley Crue, because in my opinion, it was a tie. Rock n Roll will never die!! ... Read more

Worth the wait....mostly
I saw the show in Buffalo, NY. Although it was very hot that day, we were still able to enjoy the show. Joan Jett was fantastic, Poison was also amazing and Def Leppard did not disappoint.... however, Motley Cruë was disappointing, they started out good for the first couple of songs and then it seemed like Vince was having a hard time keeping up. He was skipping lyrics and mumbling, sounded like he had a mouth full of marbles. I can not say enough about Def Leppard though, after all these years they did not miss a beat.
