Behind Every Great Man Is A Great Woman
During her tenure as First Lady Of The United States from 2009 to 2017, Michelle Obama made her mark on history in partnership with former commander in chief Barrack Obama, becoming the first African Americans to hold office at the White House. Yet this strong, intelligent symbol of hope never stood in her husband's shadow, using her position for the greater good of American communities and children.
As part of the AT&T Centre's #HEARHERE2018 series, Michelle will grace the Winspear Opera House stage for a special one-night-only discussion of her remarkable life and achievements. She'll be giving a unique insight into the four initiatives she spearheaded, namely Let's Move, Joining Forces, Reach Higher and Let Girls Learn. Aimed at childhood health, veteran support and the advocacy of education for girls all around the world, these bright ideas transformed the lives of many.
