The Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary Tour
50 years ago this year The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds was released and changed music forever. Written as a response to The Beatles' Rubber Soul, it was a surf rock and psychedelic masterpiece, packed with gorgeous harmonies and cutting edge production that remains the band's defining achievement.
To mark its half-century anniversary, Brian Wilson is taking the album on a huge worldwide tour. At each of these dates, Brian and his band, including former Beach Boy members Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, are performing Pet Sounds in its entirety, from 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' and 'Caroline, No'.
