A Pure Classic!
Undoubtedly history's most romantic and tragic story of the original star crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet lends itself beautifully to the language of drama, from kinetic violence to the exquisite pain of young love. The warring Capulets and Montagues are brought to thrilling life by DTC in a new take on the much-loved story which places the teenage lovers in the current day.
This production, directed by Joel Ferrell, is interactive at times, placing some of the audience right in the midst of the action. Not for the very young or fainthearted, this modern-age take on Shakespeare's classic love story is emotional and inescapable - a must-see for drama students and fans of the Bard himself.
