POOR SONG SELECTION ! OVERDOSE OF TAMIL SONGS

A R Rahman concert was a dream for me but I was very disappointed. 3 reasons 1) song selection was poor - didnt play classics like nadaaan parindey, roja 2) 50% was tamil - good chunk of audience was disconnected and disappointed. 3) poor stage energy. No crescendo in end

DISAPPOINTED

The show started 45 minutes late in Atlanta. There were no announcements regarding delay. Audience kept shouting. There was no host to welcome or to say bye. Very few hindi songs with most of the songs in Tamil. Could not enjoy as I don't speak or understand Tamil. Very few musicians on stage and show ended early. Hope they make improvements considering the price we pay for ticket. I enjoyed hindi songs but still not happy due to these reasons. Show should be executed more professionally and should consider all types of audience.

IT WAS A LAZY CONCERT

First of all, let me start by addressing the other reviews that say there were too many Tamil or Telugu songs. It might help to realize that ARR is a tamilian and his body of work extends far beyond Bollywood so if you're really a fan, you might want to listen to his best songs in Indian languages outside of Hindi...Music is the common language. The concert was disappointing because the performances were disconnected with very few actual hits. Seems inexcusable to sing unimpressive songs at an ARR concert, he's made the best music of our generation. Sound balance wasn't great and Rakshita's mic did her no justice. Zero chemistry between the artists and they each sang songs that didn't suit their voices (despite being talented). Some of the male singers were so unimpressive. Hire better vocalists!! There's a raga portion that's good and probably the only thing they thought out. I loved Aao Balma. And certain classics were good to hear eg. dil se re. Overall not worth it though

WORST CONCERT EXPERIENCE EVER - NON-TAMIL SPEAKERS SHOULDN’T BOTHER TO ATTEND

One of the most disappointing concert experiences I have ever had. Instead of singing and performing any of his most popular Hindi songs, AR Rahman and troupe either mostly sang Tamil songs or shortened versions of a very few of his Hindi hits but with atrocious pronunciation to the point where the only reason you knew the song was from the music. Seriously, don’t bother to go unless you know Tamil and even then it’s questionable.
