LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE MONKEES!

They may be in their 70's, but the Micky and Mike still know how to put on a show. If you get the chance to see them, don't hesitate!

DO NOT MISS THE MONKEES!

I was dancing in my seat... and so were so many around me! These two adorable Monkees really gave us a good time. Told funny stories and the music is outstanding. The band is great, led by Mike and Micky who are true entertainers. It was a night I'll treasure for always.

WONDERFUL, NOSTALGIC NIGHT

Behind a 9 piece band, Mike and Mickey had a great time reliving their past life as Monkees with a diverse set list and a very talented backup band. Mickey is the ultimate showman. Both still have great singing voices. The sound was excellent, as you would expect from the awesome Tobin Center. A must see if you have the chance .

THE MONKEES GREENSBURG CONCERT

I love, love The Monkees. Micky was as youthful and energetic as ever and has never lost his fantastic voice. I am so glad I got to see Mike, even though he did not look well. He got very emotional at times. God bless him for wanting to go on this farewell tour. I will miss seeing The Monkees. They have brought me joy since 1966.

THE MONKEES STILL ROCK !!!

Went to the show last night with a couple of friends, absolutely loved it they sounded great it was really fun I just wish they had a jumbo screen so I could see them better we had seats in the back and they made us pay for a Covid test because we weren’t vaccinated an extra 20 bucks which I thought was kind of fishy but this is all about the MONKEES , So thanks to Nikki and Mike for putting on a great show and all the musicians it was awesome now I can tell my grandkids I saw the MONKEES LIVE

MONKEES GREAT! MASK ISSUES AT MAGNOLIA

The Magnolia is a fabulous theatre with great sightlines and acoustics. The Monkees and their backup band were exceptional. Sadly, although there were signs everywhere for patrons to wear their masks inside, many guests took them off. Singing loudly along with the band without a mask was risky behavior, and security didn't enforce the mask rule, making our at-risk group uncomfortable. Even the site's vendors took masks off, wore them around their chins or under their noses while handling food. Magnolia Management, please address our safety needs. Even if Management doesn't personally agree with vaxxing and masks, they have a civic duty to protect the rest of us.

HEY HEY WE’RE STILL THE MONKEES

So I took three of my friends to go see the MONKEES Friday, September 17, 2021 over at the Fox performing arts theater in Riverside and boy did they rock. Absolutely wonderful show they sounded terrific and if there was just one thing I thought it might’ve been proved it was to have a Jumbotron so I can see the musicians bet it was hard to see from the back seats. Anyways thank you Mickey and Mike For all the great music over the years it’s timeless and will live on forever. But it does suck to get old I know LOL

A VERY MEMORABLE NIGHT

I've been a fan of The Monkees since I was a kid, watching reruns of the old show on Nickelodeon in the late 80s. When Davy Jones died a few years ago and when Peter Tork died in 2019 I thought The Monkees touring days might be over. I'm really glad Mike and Micky have decided to keep going. This was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Micky was especially good and was by far the more energetic of the two. Mike's physical stamina is not great, but his voice is still great. They performed a great variety of songs and even performed "Different Drum", which in my opinion is the best song Mike ever wrote even if it was never recorded by The Monkees. They also performed a couple of songs from Good Times!, their 50th anniversary album that came out a few years ago. I would highly recommend this tour if you are able to see it.

THE MUSIC WAS JUST AWFUL

Reading these reviews, I wondered if these people were really at the same concert. Nesmith just sat there talking about all sorts of nonsense, while Mickey did his best to not look 76 years old. They played one popular Monkees (Last Train to Clarksville) at the beginning and then made the crowd suffer through until the end to hear a few more of their legendary hits. There was zero effort to make the stage look impressive or interesting and the music was horrible. My wife and I were very disappointed and are now rethinking going to any of these hasbeen concerts in the future. The Monkees should have gone out on a high note years ago and should be ashamed to charge to the miserable show they are presently giving to hard working people.
