The Original Lineup of the Dixie Dregs Go On Tour

Beginning in the 1970s, The Dixie Dregs use rock, classical and metal sounds in their largely instrumental music. After a lot of speculation, the band have reunited with their original lineup of Rod Morgenstein, Andy West, Allen Sloan, Steve Davisowski and Steve Morse who released the band's first album 'Freefall' in 1977.

The critically acclaimed musicians known for their amazing instrumentals received a Grammy nomination in 1979 for Best Rock Instrumental Performance with their fourth album, 'Night of the Living Dregs.' Their last album was 'Full Circle' released in which featured T Lavitz as Keyboardist, who played with the band from 1978 and died in 2010. After a name change and the various replacements of band members, this tour aims to establish and celebrate the authenticity of the band when they first started.
