Edn Muoz, whose full name is Rodolfo Edn Muoz Cant, was born on September 25, 1990. He is a highly regarded Mexican artist, recognized for his singing, songwriting, and production work in regional Mexican music. Muoz first rose to prominence as the co-founder, lead vocalist, chief songwriter, and accordionist of the band Calibre 50, formed in 2010. Under his direction, the band achieved widespread success, with numerous hits and record-breaking performances on the Billboard charts for regional Mexican music.

Their biggest single to date, Ballad of a Southern Man, was spawned by their second album, Firewater in 2011.
