Celebrate Christmas with Rivers Cuomo and more!
Dallas' premier alternative music station bring their annual Xmas concert back to the Verizon Theatre, and this year's line-up is their biggest yet.
Leading the way is Weezer, the LA foursome who defined a generation with their 1994 Blue Album. A lyrical, sardonic and apologetically nerdy record of fuzzed out punk pop, its singles 'Buddy Holly' and 'Say It Ain't So' quickly established Weezer as a winning alternative to the labouring grunge movement. In 2016 they continued their recent return to form with The White Album, a pitch perfect, sunny collection that has banished any thoughts of Make Believe from their longterm fans' brains. Joining Rivers and the boys at the Verizon are Awolnation, Dirty Heads, Kongos, Capital Cities and Judah and the Lion.
