David Bowie may have left our world back in January but he lives on through his eclectic works spanning half a century. Now Dallas POPS bring his music to the stage as you’ve never heard before.
Since their formation under Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Steve Cook, Dallas POPS have been performed at a variety of venues across Texas. With a team of hand-picked musicians, major talents in Broadway, Country and Rock & Roll they play the greatest hits from across the decades, not to mention film and television soundtracks. Performing everything from Led Zeppelin to Pokémon, Dallas POPS is popular music as you’ve never heard before.
Now they’re turning their talents to the long and varied career of the late great Bowie. In tribute to the pioneer of glam rock who sadly passed away earlier this year Dallas POPS will be performing the highlights of his lengthy discography. Life on Mars, Ziggy Stardust, Ashes to Ashes and even the more recent Blackstar, the evening promises to please Bowie fans of all ages. Ch Ch Ch Changes a Symphonic Tribute to the Music of David Bowie takes place at the Verizon Theatre on September 24th 2016.
